University of Calgary, SAIT and Mount Royal University students are moving into their dorms and hitting the books starting Tuesday.
While there’s plenty of room in residence at SAIT and Mount Royal, there’s still not enough on-campus housing at the U of C for everyone who wants it.
The school’s Director of Residence tells The Calgary Herald they’re hoping this is the last year of waiting lists for residence spots, as a new 600-bed tower is expected to open by the fall of 2011.
There’s just under 1,700 beds on the U of C campus right now, leaving a waiting list of 400 students looking to get into residence.
