Calgary father charged for burning baby’s feet

A Calgary father is waiting to hear his sentence for burning his baby daughter’s feet in a pot of hot water, just to see her reaction.
The water had been boiled earlier to sterilize baby bottles.
The Calgary Herald reports the incident happened in February.
The girl’s mother wasn’t home at the time and the father tried to hide his daughter’s burns and blisters from the mom.
She eventually called her doctor and took her daughter to the hospital.
