Using TV to catch a killer

The Calgary father of a B.C. realtor who was murdered more than two years ago hopes a television documentary about the unsolved case will generate new leads.

Lindsay Buziak’s body was found minutes after she met two people who wanted to view a million-dollar home in the Victoria area on February 2nd, 2008.

The 24-year-old was stabbed to death.

Police believe she was the victim of a targeted killing but still don’t know why.  Charges have yet to be laid in the case.

Buziak’s father Jeff says a list of five possible suspects was produced by a private investigator’s probe into his daughter’s killing.

At one point a $100,000 reward was also being offered.

The Buziak murder will be featured Friday night on NBC’s Dateline, starting at 9:00 p.m. Calgary time.

Dateline has 11-million viewers a week.

Police in Sannich, B.C. have set up a special international tips line to handle any calls that might come in following the program.
