The head of Enmax is defending taxpayer-funded rock concerts at his house.
CEO Gary Holden brought in stars like Tom Cochrane and Tragically Hip front man Gord Downie to perform at corporate parties.
He tells The Calgary Herald the concerts were designed to promote environmentally-friendly power sources to industry guests.
Holden says hosting the parties at his home instead of at an outside venue likely saved taxpayers money.
