Popular U.S. ad campaign shooting in Calgary

Inglewood is set to be the next shooting location in a popular U.S. ad campaign.

Allstate Insurance has picked Calgary’s oldest neighbourhood for a Christmas-themed TV commercial.

Dean Winters will star in the ad. He portrayed Ryan O’Reily on HBO’s “Oz.”

The shoot is scheduled to start Wednesday night and wraps up on Thursday night.

The president of the Inglewood Business Revitalization Zone tells The Calgary Sun shooting the commercial will bring in about $100,000 to Calgary’s economy.
