An Alberta town of less than four thousand people has a football team to write home about.
The Raymond Comets, of Raymond, south of Lethbridge, are currently ranked number one in the nation on a website of weekly high school football rankings, beating out schools in Montreal and Windsor, Ontario.
That according to canadafootballchat.com which is out with its latest weekly rankings.
Lee Barette, who helps compile the rankings tells 660News, the Comets have crushed opponents, 60 – 0 at times this year.
Calgary’s best high school team Notre Dame came in at 19th.
