Mayor wants new talks on tax

Our new mayor is calling our current tax system regressive and medieval.
Naheed Nenshi wants to enter into new talks with the province and the federal government on funding following a recent report that Calgary is over-contributing to provincial and federal coffers.
Nenshi tells 660News the entire system of funding needs to change.
He adds he wants to see a system where the city can ask the province or federal government for money once, rather than over and over again.
