Violent home invasion in Calgary’s southeast

Police are investigating yet another home invasion robbery in the city.
Duty Inspector Chris Butler tells 660News officers were called to a home in the southeast community of Penbrooke Meadows just after 1:00 a.m. Monday.
Several masked men armed with bats and hammers attacked two men in the home on 54th Avenue and 8th Street.
Both victims were taken to hospital. They’re listed in stable condition, but police are not releasing details about how the victims were hurt.
Police also say the home was a targeted attack.
There were three adults and four children home at the time.
