This article is more than 5 years old.

It’s a big blow to local footy fanatics.

The roof of the Subway Soccer Dome has collapsed for the 2nd time in the last two years.

That’s causing a major disruption to the local soccer community.

Forty teams a night use the facility and now must find somewhere else to play. Two tourneys have already been scrubbed.

Daryl Leinweber with the Calgary Minor League Soccer Association tells CTV, they are losing about a third of the city’s soccer pitches

At this point, it’s not known for sure what caused the bubble to collapse.
