Marathon debate ends

Over 20 hours after it started a marathon debate in the Alberta legislature finally ended on Thursday.
MLA’s were arguing over amendments to a health bill introduced by Dr. Raj Sherman. Sherman, who was kicked out of the Tory caucus recently, wants to limit ER wait times.
Sherman says the conservatives have been promising changes to wait times for years, but have never done anything.
Members of all three opposition parties kept the debate going.
The debate will resume on Monday.
