Trial date set for accused basement shooter

A trial date has been set for the man accused of shooting a Calgary teen through a basement window in his family’s northeast home.
The 12-day hearing will begin July 25th next year, four-and-a-half years after Adam Cavanaugh was killed while his parents were upstairs.
The suspect can’t be identified because he was 17-years-old at the time of the shooting.
