More Enmax executive pay info to come out

Calgarians could get a peek at how much Enmax’s big wigs are making as early as Thursday.
More information is expected to come out about how the city-owned utility decides the pay and bonuses of top executives.
Mayor Naheed Nenshi tells the Calgary Sun he’s waiting to hear how Enmax justifies paying its top brass the amounts it does.
Nenshi says he’s already suspicious that Enmax is simply pegging their executive salaries to the pay of other executives in the private sector, without considering what value the power company is getting for its people.
It’s already come out that Enmax CEO Gary Holden recently raked in $2.7-million in salary and bonuses, while the utility’s board chair makes more than the mayor.
