Constant charity canvassing pressures Calgarians

This can be the most expensive time of year, especially when it seems every store is asking for donations to charity while consumers are paying for their purchases.
Calgarians 660News spoke with Thursday morning were split on whether constantly being asked for donations was frustrating.
Garth says he does donate but can feel especially pressured at this time of year.
“Sometimes when you’re in line there’s people behind you and people in front of you who are donating you feel obligated to do so, even if you don’t believe in that charity,” he says.
He’s one of many who say they have a donation limit and will decide that based on which charity is benefiting from the holiday cash.
