Keep your resolutions on pace

Some simple steps can keep your New Year’s resolutions on track.

An Angus Reid poll conducted on behalf of American Express Canada found that only 15 per cent of us write down our goals and twice as many people don’t keep track of their goals at all.

However, there are a growing number of Canadians joining the ranks of  “potentialists”, who take a focused approach to achieving success in goal setting.

If you want to realize your New Year’s resolution, potentialists suggest the following: first, ask yourself what you need to do tomorrow to get one step closer to your goal.

Also, prepare for temptation and exercise your will power regularly.

Finally, take on your fear of failure. Irrational fears will get in the way of your progress towards reaching your full potential.
