The Grinch has struck Edmonton’s Candy Cane Lane.
Two homeowners on the street that lights up for the holidays and raises donations for the food bank received frightening gift parcels.
One was a severed toy thumb, the other was a skeleton in a Santa suit.
The Globe and Mail reports they were accompanied by letters likening Christmas and Santa to child abuse and signed by “Mitch.”
The woman who found the thumb on her doorstep calls it criminal mischief and wants the perpetrator charged. So far, police haven’t been able to track him down.
