Several area highways are still closed because of avalanche risks.
The Trans-Canada from the West Louise Lodge near Lake Louise is still closed all the way to Field, B.C.
It’s hoped the route will be open again on Wednesday.
Highway 93 is also closed south from Castle Junction to Radium Hot Springs.
Parks Canada is hoping to fly helicopters into both those areas to drop dynamite on the snow and then clear the roads.
Crews say they can only do that if visibility improves.
