Blackett under fire for snow removal comment

He says he wasn’t criticizing this city; just praising Edmonton.

Culture Minister Lindsay Blackett is doing some damage control after saying he’s impressed at how Edmonton road crews don’t push snow onto downtown sidewalks like crews do in Calgary.

The Calgary-North MLA says he wasn’t knocking how things are done here.

Blackett admits sometimes he gets in trouble for speaking his mind.
