Fluoride debate starts up again

A lot of people will be weighing into the fluoride debate Wednesday.

More than 100 people have made submissions to take part in a hearing before a city committee and Alderman Ray Jones is preparing for a long day.

He tells The Calgary Herald the people he really wants to hear from are the experts and he’s eager to hear the pros and cons.

It was Alderman Druh Farrell who brought the issue back to council earlier this month, suggesting it’s time to stop adding fluoride to Calgary’s water system after twenty years of the practice.
