Nellie’s empire down to two locations

The Nellie’s restaurant empire is shrinking.
Owner Roxanne Taylor-King has been forced to sell the 7th Street S.W., 17th Avenue S.W., and 4th Street S.W. locations.
Another restaurant on 90th Avenue S.W. will soon go on the block as well.
Taylor-King tells The Calgary Sun it’s nothing short of a miracle that she’s still in business at all after the restaurant’s reputation was tarnished by health violations.
The only two locations she is keeping control of are the Nellie’s in Kensington and Nellie’s Cosmic Cafe in the Beltline.
