The president of the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association in Edmonton says if even one case is thrown into doubt, it’s significant.
Lawyers in this city are checking to see how many cases Dr. Michael Belenky was involved in here.
He’s also being connected to a murder investigation in the U.S.
American investigators were in our city to interview Belenky about the murder of two people including an 11-year-old boy that happened back in 2008 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Belenky did his residency at a university there.
He wasn’t in Omaha when the crime took place, but investigators say they’re interviewing anyone who might have any more information.
