Montgomery Junior High may close

A junior high school in Montgomery may be forced to close.

It’s because of low enrolment at the northwest community school.

The school was built in 1953 and has a capacity of more than 750 students but only 176 are slated to attend next year, according to The Calgary Herald.

A public meeting to talk about the closure is set for March 9th.
