Falconridge rapist release set for November

A high-risk rapist could be back on Calgary streets this year.

The man known as the Falconridge rapist is scheduled to be released from prison at the end of November.

Andrew Aurie Jefferson was convicted in a series of armed street attacks on women in the northeast community in 2006.

The Calgary Herald reports a parole board document says Jefferson is still a risk to the community.

It says he has twice failed to finish “high intensity” sexual offender therapy.
