Most Canucks know who they’re voting for: survey

Fresh political polling finds most Canadians have already made their minds up about who they’ll vote for in the federal election and are unlikely to change their mind before May 2.
A new poll by Abacus Data suggests 61 per cent of Canadians are decided on who they are voting for.
It also found the Conservative Party has 36 per cent of public support, followed by the Liberals at 27 per cent, the NDP at 20 per cent, the Bloc Quebecois at nine per cent and the Green Party at eight per cent.
On the election trail Tuesday, the Liberals and New Democrats are expected to make major policy announcements.
NDP Leader Jack Layton will be in Kitchener, Ontario, while Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff is in Vancouver. Tory leader Stephen Harper will spend the day in Regina and Winnipeg, while Green Party Leader Elizabeth May is in Vancouver.
