Alberta men charged in gun smuggling ring

An extensive investigation has led to the arrest of three Lethbridge men in an international weapons smuggling and trafficking ring.
The Rocky Mountain Integrated Border Enforcement Team recovered 14 prohibited guns and assorted prohibited weapons.
Staff Sergeant Gordon Sage says it’s lucky they intercepted the weapons when they did, because they were headed to organized crime.
Two residents are facing charges in the United States and one has been charged in Lethbridge.
Shawn Aaron Locke, who is 26, faces two counts of conspiracy to traffic firearms, plus additional charges related to firearms and weapons.
