Another Alberta doctor joins push for inquiry

Another doctor is calling for a public inquiry into allegations the health system is intimidating physicians.

Dr. Allan Garbutt of the Crowsnest Pass says he was threatened with a lawsuit if he didn’t stop pushing for more health services.

In a letter to Liberal Leader David Swann, Garbutt says he feared financial devastation if he didn’t keep quiet.

He says he finally decided to write the letter after it became clear he wasn’t the only one being threatened.
