Two pedestrians hit in two separate collisions

A pair of collisions Friday morning left two people in life-threatening condition.

In one incident, police say a taxi hit a pedestrian at 1st Street and 13th Avenue S.E. just after 1:00 a.m.

Meanwhile, a construction worker is also fighting for his life after a hit and run at Blackfoot Trail and 26th Avenue S.W. just before 12:30 a.m.

Duty Inspector Keith Cain says the Traffic Unit is investigating both incidences.
