Vehicle and C Train collision in downtown core

Two women were sent to hospital in stable condition after a vehicle and C Train collision in the downtown core.
The 70-year-old woman driver and her 58-year-old passenger were trapped after being hit by a c-train at the intersection of 7th Avenue and MacLeod trail.
The roof of vehicle had to be cut and removed, in order to get the women out safely. Both women are in stable condition and have been released from hospital .
