A man is homeless after fire gutted a house in the northeast.
Firefighters were called around 11 p.m. Tuesday and found the home on Malvern Way N.E. engulfed in flames.
The intense heat and smoke made it difficult for the firefighters to battle the blaze. It took 16 firefighters and five trucks to get the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is unknown, and no one was hurt.
