Life threatening injuries for motorcyclist

A 32 year old male motorcyclist is fighting for his life following a collision with another vehicle, early Saturday morning, in downtown Calgary’s southwest.
“A motorcycle struck another motor vehicle near the intersection of 17th Avenue and 4th Street Southwest,” Detective Dean Nicoll tells 660News of the 1am incident. “The driver of the motorcycle is in critical, life-threatening condition with some head injuries.”
The female passenger on the motorbike has broken bones.
Police say the motorcycle was heading east on 17th Avenue Southwest, approaching the 4th Street intersection, when it collided with a Nissan Versa that was turning.
The 19 year old woman driving the van, as well as her three passengers, were uninjured.
