Calgary fire ban lifted

The fire ban for Calgary has been lifted.

This comes after the recent rainfall in the city, with more in the forecast.

It’s now permitted to use incinerators, regulated burning barrels or fire pits, solid fuel barbecues and fireworks.

The fire ban was implemented a week ago after extremely dry conditions raised the risk of wildfires.
