Annual event exchanges time for art instead of money

Local artists will have a chance to have some of their artwork on the auction block at the sixth annual Timeraiser event.
Stewart McDonough with the event tells 660News no cash is exchanged.
“It’s a really unique event where people get to bid their volunteer hours and time instead of cash for excellent local and emerging art,” says McDonough.
Timeraiser events are held in cities across Canada including Vancouver, Winnipeg, Edmonton, London, Ottawa, Toronto and Hamilton.
The event will be held on June 16th at Flames Central.
