Scotiabank Calgary Marathon Race Closures

The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon road race route is as follows: 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday May 29:
The marathon will start at Bridgeland Community Centre on Centre Avenue between 7 A Street and 12 A Street N.E.
The marathon will proceed east to 12 Street N.E. and southbound on 12 Street N.E. approaching and crossing St. George’s Bridge, down the exit ramp to Baines Bridge to eastbound Zoo Road S.E. and southbound to 12 Street/11 Street S.E. (re-opening at 8 a.m.)
The marathon will then proceed westbound on 21 Avenue S.E. to Spiller Road S.E., and head northbound on Spiller Road S.E.and westbound on MacDonald Avenue S.E., crossing MacDonald Bridge. (re-opening at 8:30 a.m.)
Westbound 12 Avenue S.E. to southbound Macleod Trail (reopening at 8:30 a.m.)
1 Street S.E. to westbound 17 Avenue S.E., heading to northbound 14 Street S.W., to westbound Memorial Drive N.W. (re-opening at 9 a.m.) A two-way traffic operation will be in place on the southside of 17 Avenue and the west side of 14 Street N.W.
Memorial Drive will be closed from 4 Street N.E. to Shaganappi Trail N.W. from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Westbound Memorial Drive N.W. to northbound Shaganappi Trail N.W.
The southside of Parkdale Boulevard/3 Avenue/Bowness Road N.W.between Crowchild Trail and Shaganappi Trail will have a two-way traffic operation in place.
Eastbound 32 Avenue N.W. to southbound 39 Street N.W./Collegiate Boulevard N.W. to eastbound 24 Avenue N.W. A right lane closure will be in effect on 24 Avenue and 32 Avenue N.W.
Eastbound 24 Avenue N.W. to northbound East Campus Drive N.W.to westbound 32 Avenue N.W.
Westbound 32 Avenue N.W. to northbound 49 Street N.W.
Westbound 40 Avenue N.W. to northbound 53 Street N.W. to westbound Varsity Estates Drive N.W.
Southbound 53 Street N.W. to westbound Varsity Drive N.W., to eastbound 40 Avenue N.W. to southbound 49 Street N.W.
49 Street N.W. to eastbound 32 Avenue N.W., to southbound Shaganappi Trail N.W.
Shaganappi Trail N.W. to eastbound Bowness Road/3 Avenue/Parkdale Boulevard/Memorial Drive N.W.
Memorial Drive N.W. to northbound 4 Street N.E., to eastbound 1 Avenue N.E. to southbound 7 A Street N.E. to the finish line at Centre Avenue at 8 A Street N.E.
