The lawyer for a local psychiatrist charged with sexually assaulting his patients wants the trial kept out of the public eye.
Defence attorney Alain Hepner has applied to seal the trial to all members of the public, except accredited Calgary media.
Hepner says there’s some concern at least one reporter from South Africa, where Levin practiced in the past, will attend and file reports that won’t abide by Canadian publication bans.
Levin is facing 21 charges and is expected in court on June 6th.
