Fire in Forest Lawn

Fire crews have doused a kitchen fire in Forest Lawn.

It happened around 5:00 a.m. on Thursday in a four-plex in the 1800 block of 37th Street S.E.

Two adults and their grandchild managed to get out without being hurt.

There is no damage estimate yet but the fire was contained to one of the units.
