“Dousing the Flames” fundraiser June 16th for Slave Lake

A benefit concert for Slave Lake wildfire victims next Thursday will help start residents rebuilding their community.
The event is called “Dousing the Flames”, and organizer Wanda Mae tells 660News, 18 bands have agreed to perform.
The entertainment also includes dance groups, glow dancers, an auctioneer as well as door prizes and draws.
The fundraiser takes place June 16th in Jimmy’s Nightclub at the Coast Hotel in the N.E., starting at 7:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.
The cover charge is a $10 donation going to the Red Cross.
