It’s the last chance to head off job action by city workers.
A negotiation session will get underway Wednesday between the union, representing thousands of inside workers, and the city.
If it fails, CUPE 38 plans a strike vote Thursday.
Rotating walkouts could begin later this month.
The union represents civil servants like assessors, traffic engineers, building inspectors and 311 operators.
