Construction worker falls 10 metres

A construction worker was flown to Foothills Hospital in life-threatening condition after falling 10 metres at a work site in Chestermere.
EMS spokesman Adam Loria tells the Calgary Sun the 52-year-old Calgary man was working on a home early Wednesday afternoon, when he fell into the basement of a home under development.
Loria describes the man’s injuries as massive.
Occupational Health and Safety is investigating.
