Paradee’s lawyer waiting for evidence

A high profile child porn case involving the former head of Taber’s Police Commission has been put over until next month.

Curtis Paradee resigned from the commission last month after being arrested and charged with child luring and accessing child porn.  He was not in Taber court this morning.

His lawyer Douglas Carle says that it’s too early to decide what his client will plead.

“It’s a situation where there’s been allegations made and charges made against an individual, a well known individual in the community. However until such time as we see what exactly those allegations are I would certain hesistate and caution anyone against rushing to judgement,” said Carle.

Paradee is free on bail until the case goes to trial.
