Calgary looks forward to the Stampede

With the Stampede kicking off this week, everyone seems to have something they look forward to most.
One woman tells 660News she’d like to catch the parade, but she’s wary of the expected crowds because of the royal presence.
“I would imagine there’s going to be a ton of people downtown so I don’t know, even if we make it, how much of a glance we’re going to get,” she says.
Another woman tells 660News, seeing the parade is a must because she thinks her two-year-old daughter would love it.
Others highlight the midway and the greasy treats it promises, as well as the chuckwagon races.
