The Royal Canadian tour of Prince William and his new bride, Kate, stops in Yellowknife Tuesday.
The Royal couple will touch down in Calgary Thursday afternoon.
Wednesday morning, thousands of people are expected to line up at the Max Bell Arena in southeast, hoping to get a wristband.
Only 5,600 special access wristbands for two of the three public events the Royals have scheduled in Calgary are available.
Two-thousand five-hundred people will be granted access to a special event Thursday night at the BMO Centre at Stampede Park.
Another 3,100 wristbands are being issued for a function at Calgary Rotary Challenger Park Friday afternoon before they leave town.
The largest public event in which the Royals will participate is the Stampede Parade.
A special motorcade will travel the parade route in reverse, starting at City Hall.
Will and Kate will wave to parade spectators as they travel westbound along 9th Ave., north on 10th St., then east on 6th Ave. to 1st St. Southeast.
Once the parade gets rolling the Royals will head back to their hotel to watch the spectacle and get ready for an Alberta government luncheon at the zoo.
Thousands of people are expected to start staking out their parade viewing spots, beginning Thursday night, camping out with lawn-chairs, sleeping bags and thermoses.
Even though Wednesday is a scheduled day off for the Royal couple, there are reports the two might pay a visit to Slave Lake and tour the Wildfire ravaged community.
