Tiger Woods not making an announcement

Guess we’ll have to take a mulligan on this one.

There were reports on Twitter Sunday night and Monday morning that Tiger Woods would appear on the Golf Channel to make a major announcement sometime Monday.

However, Tiger’s agent, Mark Steinberg, says no such announcement is imminent.

The tweet originated from the Golf Channel’s Twitter account Sunday night, but has since been removed.

Rumours were swirling the golf star was going to announce he’s done for the year, or possibly even announcing his retirement.
