Woman’s death ruled accidental

Calgary police have determined the death of a woman pulled from the Bow River earlier this month, was accidental.

An autopsy has found Guadalupe Catbagan’s death is not suspicious.

Police found the body of the 74-year-old Calgary woman in the river near the 1000 block of Memorial Drive northeast on July 5th.

Police say at the time of her death, she was not wearing the jewelry later reported missing by her family.
