Couple attacked by friend’s dogs

A couple from Didsbury is recovering after being attacked by a pair of Akita dogs.
The man and woman had gone to feed the dogs for a friend, and brought their Beagle with them.
It’s thought the female Akita, who had just had a litter of puppies, felt threatened by the couple’s pooch.
By-law boss Bill Bruce tells Citytv the dogs are being held here in Calgary while Mounties decide what to do.
