Taber corn may not be available until September

Taber corn lovers will have to wait a little longer before enjoying the sweet delicious goodness.
David Jensen with the Alberta Corn Growers Association says usually Taber corn is available around this time but not this year.
“It’s going to be quite late. Some places may not see it until early September,” says Jensen.
He adds the reason for the delay is because of the lack of sun and too much rain we had in June.
There is still hope that some corn will be made available before September but the majority will be delayed.
