Fire destroys garage

Residents of a northwest duplex were roused from their beds in the wee hours Saturday morning to find the building’s garage on fire.
Firefighters rushed to Nokomis Place N.W. around 2:30 a.m.
Fire Battalion Chief Al Magwood tells 660News when crews arrived they found one half of the side-by-side garage fully involved.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the fire or a dollar estimate on the damage.
