Calgary housing sales up

The president of the Calgary Real Estate Board describes the latest numbers from home sales in the city as the continuation of a healthy recovery.
Sales of single family homes and condos in Calgary in July mark a five per cent increase over last July, but the numbers still lag about 17 per cent below the 10-year average.
The average price of a home in the city is now just over $450,000, while a condo will run at just over $286,000.
