Olds man charged with three Calgary bank heists

Calgary Police have arrested an Alberta man, following three daring, daylight bank robberies around the city.
Investigators say the most recent occurred after a man walked into a Southland Drive First Calgary Financial, during the noon hour of July 25th.
Once inside, the man walked up to the teller, showed her a firearm and then handed her a note, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Similar robberies took place on June 1st at a Marda Loop Scotiabank and July 13th at a Brentwood T.D. Canada Trust.
Stephen Thomas Fortune, 54, of Olds is facing seven charges including robbery, possession of a weapon and use of a disguise to commit an indictable offence.
