Coyote proves wily in attacks

A string of attacks on pets in the northwest community of Montgomery has residents afraid there’s a vicious coyote in the area.
After Wendy Oliver found her cat mauled, she tells The Calgary Sun she learned from neighbours at least four other cats have gone missing in the last month.
A vet confirmed Oliver’s cat was likely killed by a coyote.
Many others have spotted a coyote near 23rd Avenue N.W. around dusk.
