No Lions quarterback change this week

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Lions quarterback Travis Lulay will get the start this Friday night in Edmonton against the Eskimos. Lulay was yanked in favour of back-up Jarious Jackson in the third quarter of last Saturday’s 30-17 loss at home to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The loss dropped the team’s record to a CFL worst 1-6.
Before any talk of a quarterbacking controversy could start with the Vancouver media, coach and general manager Buono quickly named Lulay his starter for the game.
Lulay was 12-23 and threw 103 yards against Winnipeg before Buono had seen enough and pulled Lulay from a game for the first time this season.
Lulay’s 77.3 quarterback rating is the lowest among all starting QB’s in the CFL.
