Two PC leadership candidates in Calgary

Two of the six candidates running for the leadership of the PC party were in Calgary Friday.
Alison Redford and Ted Morton discussed their platform and answered questions from undecided voters while speaking at an event hosted by Calgary West Rotary Club.
Morton said he would focus on five policies:
“One, bring back the Alberta advantage; two, fiscal responsibility; three, democratic reform; four, strong leadership from the premier on both the national and international stage and five, we need to put ‘conservation’ back into the meaning of ‘conservatism,'” said Morton.
Meanwhile, Redford said her campaign will focus on the province’s need to grow and clean up its dirty oil sand image.
Forum attendee, Lynn, told 660News, although she was undecided going in, she walked out knowing she would support Alison Redford.
“I hope to help with Alison Redford’s campaign. That’s how big an impression she made on me,” said Lynn.
Albertans will head to the polls to replace retiring Premier Ed Stelmach on September 17th.
